Studio Leadership Opportunity - Thrive Dance Assistant (TDA)

The Thrive Dance Assistant (TDA) Program is the first step in the Student Teacher Education Program (STEP), designed for dancers who are passionate about dance, leadership, and inspiring younger dancers. As some of the first role models our youngest dancers look up to, Dance Assistants help create welcoming, encouraging, and positive class experiences where every dancer feels seen, supported, and successful.

Through mentorship, hands-on classroom experience, and progressive leadership opportunities, participants begin putting leadership into action while developing the confidence, responsibility, communication, and professionalism needed to support others and explore future opportunities in dance instruction. The TDA Program is designed to help dancers discover whether a future in dance leadership and instruction is the right fit for them.

A Note About the Application Process

We are grateful for every dancer who applies to the Thrive Dance Assistant Program. As positions are limited each season, acceptance is based on demonstrated leadership, commitment, readiness, application responses, recommendations, and the needs of the studio. Applicants who are not selected are encouraged to continue growing and apply again in future seasons.
