Push your limits and dance beyond!
Thrive Dance SK is excited to offer dancers enrolled in Group Classes additional opportunities to perform on stage beyond their weekly classes. These dances provide an excellent option for students who are eager to challenge themselves and grow both technically and physically.
Thrive Dance SK also provides dancers registered in Group Classes who have performed a Solo, Duet, Trio, or Additional Group in the past, the opportunity to perform the same piece on stage, pending approval.
Extension Classes
Solos, Duets, Trios, and Additional Groups are designed for dancers who are self-disciplined and self-motivated. Dancers can participate individually, in a duet/trio, or in a separate group with their peers, in addition to group dances. To ensure dancers are familiar with learning and performing routines, it is recommended that they have at least two years of dance experience before enrolling in Extension Classes.
Extension Classes include Choreography and Cleaning Classes, access to open studio time, and participation in the Extension Class Showcase, which takes place before the competition season begins.
Repeat Extension Classes are dances that have been learned/performed during the prior dance season and are wished to be performed again. These classes are meant as a way for a student to perform a piece they loved and are familiar with. All Repeat Extension Classes must be choreographed by a current Thrive Dance SK Instructor, unless approved by Studio Owners.
Extension Classes Included in the Repeat Extension Classes are cleaning classes, access to open studio time, and participation in the Extension Class Showcase, which takes place before the competition season begins.
