With our all-inclusive pricing, the cost of costumes is already included in the installment for all Group Classes, excluding all Adult Classes. Installments are due before the last business day of each month, in accordance with the payment terms outlined above. All prices include GST and PST.

Note: Dancers enrolled in Combo Classes will have higher installments, as each dance style requires its own costume.

Costume Fees become non-refundable after October 15th. If a dancer withdraws from a Group or Performance Class after this deadline, a fee of $12 per remaining month/costume will be required to cover costume costs.

Competition Fee

Competition pricing varies by dance family and is based on each competition’s entry fees, plus a studio administration fee, staffing costs, including travel, etc., per entry (GST included). If you have any concerns about pricing, please feel free to contact us  at hello@thrivedancesk.com. Competition Fees are due before November 15th. All unpaid fees will be subject to Competition Late Fees.

Installment/Costume/Competition Late Fee

Any installments unpaid after the last business day of the month prior will be charged a late fee of $15/week until payment is received. This fee will automatically be charged to the account and no notice is required for parents/guardians. To avoid late fees, please ensure you are paying by the last business day of each month as outlined above.

Studio Rental & Private Lessons

Thrive Dance SK encourages dance families with additional competitive dances and who are looking for a larger space to practice to utilize the studio.

Open Studio Time

Dancers who want to get some extra practice time are welcome to inquire about/register for open studio time. Open studio time allows multiple dancers to practice at the same time in a shared space. A Thrive Staff member will be available at the studio but will not monitor the class closely. Open studio time is free of charge.

Extension Class Only Practice Times

Additional Extension Class Only Practice times will be held throughout the season at a cost of $5/dancer per session. Registration is required in advance to confirm attendance and will be communicated to dance families ahead of time.

Private Studio Time

Without an Instructor Present

Dancers who want to get some extra practice time are welcome to inquire about/register for private studio time. Private studio time allows dancers to practice alone (or with a peer if permission is granted by Studio Owners). The studio rental fee is $40/hour and includes a Thrive Staff member to monitor the studio but not the presence of a Thrive Dance SK Dance Instructor.

With an Instructor Present

Dancers interested in booking private studio time with an instructor may contact the studio to check availability. An additional fee of $30/hour applies when an instructor is present, totaling $70 per hour. Private lesson fees are non-refundable and must be paid at the time of booking. If a cancellation is received with at least 48 hours' notice, a credit will be applied to your account. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will result in forfeiture of the fee.

Note: To book any studio rentals, please email hello@thrivedancesk.com. An open studio calendar will be available to assist with scheduling. All private studio rentals will be posted on the Thrive Dance SK Calendar. Please check the calendar before using open studio time to ensure space is available.
