Find a class that’s best for YOU!
Thrive Dance SK is excited to offer group dance and personal development classes in various styles. Our seasonal commitment spans from September (typically after the long weekend) to the first week of June or the end of May (usually after the May long weekend). TDSK will be closed on all statutory holidays, during school breaks, and during certain competition weeks. These classes are designed to foster a team-oriented mindset for both parents/guardians and dancers, providing an opportunity to enjoy and experience the many benefits that dance brings.
Shoe & Clothing Requirements will be posted alongside the class schedule. Please avoid purchasing shoes before the release of requirements to avoid unnecessary spending.
Group Dance Classes
Training styles for group classes include but are not limited to Acro, Ballet, Beginner Movement, Broadway, Contemporary, Hip Hop Break, Hip Hop Freestyle, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Pointe, Pom, Tap, etc. ranging from 1.5 years old to adult (all ages) for a beginner to an experienced dancer to learn dance instruction. These classes vary in duration and occur once per week (except for all statutory holidays, school breaks and select competition weeks) throughout September-May. Each class has a fee.
Designated group classes will have the opportunity to compete with choreographed dances or to participate solely in the year-end recital/final performance. A competition questionnaire will be sent out at the start of the dance season to confirm interest in competition and availability. Each Dance Instructor who choreographs a group class number pours their heart and soul into both the choreography and every week’s class, ensuring that every dancer is recognized, whether they are competing or not. TDSK hosts a final year-end rehearsal and recital/dance performance, inviting family and friends to join in the celebration, and we strongly encourage all dancers to take part!
